Q&A with Jennifer
It all started with a quote from Abraham Lincoln. “The best way to predict your future is to create it.” I took that quote to heart both in my personal and professional life.
I believe in strategic master planning for my clients, but also for myself. I want to look back on my life and see that I was surrounded by positive, collaborative, and smart people who push and inspire each other. And I want to work with driven and successful organizations who are making a difference in the world.
So, I started my own agency and am building the life that I want to live and remember. It’s been an incredible journey so far. I get to work with amazing people and help them achieve their goals, while building a business that reflects my values and passions.
I am a self taught natural light photographer with a passion for photographing people and their relationships. I enjoy it so much that I opened a portrait photography business in 2009 and still keep that going on nights and weekends.
I also love music – and am often singing. To accompany myself, I started taking guitar lessons when I was 37. (It is never too late to try something new.) Since I am goal oriented, I challenged myself to write and record a song that would be on spotify and iTunes. Extra credit to you if you can find it.
My kids are older now, so I decided to visit all 50 states before I turn another decade older. I have 30 states to go. Rules are that I have to sleep at least one night there and work remotely on a project. Bonus points for finding the highest rooftop bar or restaurant to enjoy the view, sticking my feet in the state’s lakes, ponds, or ocean, and running at least a mile.
